M.O.T.A. - Who Are We?
M.O.T.A. (Melbourne Occupational Therapy Associates) is a private practice dedicated to the support and service of children and adults in need. We specialise in working with people with sensory processing, neurological and developmental difficulties.

M.O.T.A. was started in 1992 as the first full time private Occupational Therapy practice in Victoria and has since been developed into one of the most successful private practices in Victoria. For the last 18 years we have had the pleasure of providing therapy services to children and families at our North Carlton clinic however as of the end of November 2015 it is time for a change.

The clinic in North Carlton will be closing as of 20th November 2015, however M.O.T.A. will continue. We are exploring new service delivery models and program developments, exploring research opportunities and working on bringing our models of therapy more extensively into the educational environment. It is the beginning of a new adventure.

Kathy Clarkson will continue as Director and will be providing Occupational Therapy services in school and home settings, while also continuing with medicolegal and professional development work.

Neil Dinning, registered Occupational Therapist, will be contracting to work with M.O.T.A. to provide home and school based services.

As Director I would like to thank all of the families and medical professionals who have been a part of our clinic over the past 20 years. We are grateful that you have included us as a part of your therapeutic journeys and hope that our paths will cross again in the future. Regards. Kathy Clarkson
